Carol June Callahan Max, 83, of 123 Kona Drive in Casar passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at White Oak Manor in Shelby.
Born December 24, 1930 in Trumble County, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Dwight John Callahan and Gertrude Alice Alderman Callahan. She was retired from Grace Hospital as a pharmacy assistant.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lester Max, Sr., one son, Danny Jay Max; a grandson, Danny J. Max, and one sister, Eileen Talstein.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Max, Jr. and Beth Max of Casar; four grandchildren, Robert L. Max and wife, Leslie, Lauren Jourdan and husband Billy, Gena Siciliano and husband, Chris, and Meggan Knight and husband, Will; five great grandchildren, Mariah Max, Caleb Max, Nicholas Jourdan, Anna Jourdan, and Kora Knight, and special friend, Isabel Pruett of Casar.
Visitation: 10:00AM until 11:00AM, Thursday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Thursday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with Rev. Joe Edwards officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
