Something is brewing in Shelby and the cup is half full.
A fusion rock group is comprised of high-schooler member from North Carolina called, The Band Half Full.
Playing mostly coffee houses, 4 young men play a variety of cover songs and original material ranging from Indie and Soft Rock, Lo-fi, Blues, and a touch of Pop.
The band is most influenced by such artist as Sister Hazel, Matchbox Twenty/Rob Thomas, John Mayer and Goo Goo Dolls.
On behalf of the band, singer/songwriter Jonathan "Jono" Robinson states, "To those who are young and interested in music: Know that you are diving in the deepest waters and with the best equipment. When you explore your mind in an artistic way and throw your heart and soul into something, you learn about more than just an instrument...but you learn about the glue that is energy, and the way it connects you to others, and how simply important one thought is to the strength of that glue."
