Have you ever looked at somebody on stage and thought, "How do they do it?"
Performance is what many musicians live for.  It is the time to take all that has been learned, practiced, and rehearsed and throw it our there for the whole world to see.  It takes a special frame of mind to get in front of friends or strangers and pour your heart and soul into a single moment of artistry.

Once a sound has been created it can never really be taken back.  Think about it: Once the sound waves (energy) have left your voice or instrument, they continue to travel.  Each note has it’s own finite lifetime.  What kinds of sounds do YOU want people to remember from your voice or instrument.
About 125 of the best 4th and 5th grade elementary school singers will perform at 6:30pm on March 31st for Cleveland County Elementary Honors Chorus at Barnes Auditorium on the campus of Kings Mountain High School.  Since the beginning of 2012, these students have worked hard to learn and memorize the music to be performed under the direction of music teachers within our school system.
Kaleel Singleton and Shulana Smith are representing James Love Elementary School.

Calling all students songwriters, musicians and singers!  We are looking for submissions to be showcased in our Cleveland County Artists feature:
