Carolyn Corley Berry, 54, of Hawk Ridge Road, Boiling Springs, died on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. A native of Winona, Mississippi, she was born on July 25, 1959, a daughter of the late Roy Dean and Willie Pearl Lott Corley. Mrs. Berry was a teacher at Cliffside Elementary School and a member of Race Path Baptist Church. Her favorite motto in life was, “Choose Joy”.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Lonnie Dean Corley.
She is survived by her husband, The Reverend Dr. Don Berry; two daughters, Katie Berry McMichael and husband Ryan of High Point and Rebekah Berry of Boiling Springs; two grandchildren, Connor Klenotiz and Eleanor McMichael; one sister, Bonnie Jean Corley Locke and husband Jerry of Winona, MS; two brothers, Steve Corley and wife Regina of Batesville, MS and Terry Corley and wife Melody of Winona, MS;
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Race Path Baptist Church with the Rev. Randall Cooper and Rev. Bulo E. Price officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Monday, December 16, 2013 at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will be held at a later date at Race Path Baptist Church Cemetery.
