Carolyn H. Mullinax, 83, wife of Bobby C. Mullinax of the home and the late Len Hardin, passed away July 13, 2015, at her home. Born in Cherokee Falls, SC, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Lois Patterson Hardin. She was a member of Canaan United Methodist Church. She was retired from Burton Dixie. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and birdwatching. She was also an avid collector.
In addition to her husband, Bobby, she is survived by two sons - Matthew Hardin(Sue) of Kings Creek, SC, and John Hardin of Conway, SC; three daugthers - Lynn Blackwell(Mike) of Blacksburg, SC, Barbara Tidwell(Frank) of Camden, SC, and Wanda Martin of York, SC; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters - Lucy Falls of Kings Creek, SC, and Katherine Shipton of Lugoff, SC. In addition to her first husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-7:30 PM, at White Columns. A Graveside Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, July 16, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery, Smyrna, SC, with Rev. Linda Dunn officiating. At other times, the family will be at the home of her son, Matthew, at 164 Westmoreland Road, Blacksburg, SC.
