Blacksburg -- Carolyn Sedell Goodson Mullinax, 75, of 210 Mountain View Drive Apt 193, passed away Friday, July 29th, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Blacksburg, she was the widow of Eugene Mullinax and the daughter of the late Frank Allison Goodson and Minnie Ella Hughey Goodson. Mrs. Mullinax retired from textiles and was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mullinax is survived by two sons, Billy J. Mullinax and wife, Dawn, and Ricky Joe Goodson and wife, Twynkle, both of Blacksburg; one daughter, Karen Ann Mullinax Evans of Gaffney; one sister, Jennie Ruth Bolin of Blacksburg; six grandchildren, Brent Evans, Corey Mullinax, and Logan Mullinax, all of Gaffney, Kelly Goodson, April Goodson, and Ricky Goodson Jr., all of Blacksburg; and two great-grandchildren, Brantley Mullinax and Ayden Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth Eugene Goodson and Frank Junior Goodson, and her sisters, Betty Gene McDaniel, Ruby Mae Goodson, and Mary Christine Denton.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 31st, 2016, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 1st, 2016 at 11:00 am at Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery, 618 Old Buffalo Church Road, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702 with Rev. Bruce Price officiating. Corey Mullinax, Logan Mullinax, Brent Evans, Billy Mullinax, Ricky Goodson, Sr., Bruce Goodson, Mitchell Calvert, and Ricky Goodson, Jr. will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the residence of Billy and Dawn Mullinax, 618 Champion Ferry Road., Gaffney, SC .
