Charlotte- Carrie Mae Johnson, 77, of Charlotte passed away on June 30, 2015 at Carolina Healthcare System Hospital, Pineville. Carrie began her career at Good Samaritan Hospital as a registered nurse and worked for more than 50 years as an RN with outstanding service in several areas of health care.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8 at 11 a.m. at Grier Memorial Chapel, 115 John McCarroll Avenue; visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:30 a.m.

She is survived by her loving daughters Delia Rene Williams (Harold) and Valerie Patterson, grandchildren Ivory Williams, Roy Williams and Shaheem Williams, great grandson Isaiah Frederic and other family members and friends whom loved and cared for her deeply
