Carroll Edward Ledford, 71, of 246 Sandpit Road, Lawndale, died December 29,
2011 at his residence.
Born November 11, 1940 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Guy
Ledford and Pauline Poole Ledford. Carroll retired from Hickory Springs as
a sander. He was a member of Ledford's Grove Baptist Church where he was a
deacon.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold
Edwin Ledford.
He is survived by five sisters, Joann Sharp of Virginia, Jeraldine Mull of
Morganton, Patsy Denton of Morganton, Janet Cooke of Vale and Jackie Towery
of Lawndale.
Visitation: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Sunday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Monday at Ledford's Grove Baptist Church
