Carroll Wayne Green, 58, of Cap Wright Road, Lawndale, passed away Tuesday,
April 30, 2019 at his home.

Born in Lincoln County on April 30, 1961, he was a son of the late, Martin
"Mart" Green and Louise Williams Green.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Martin E.
"Babe" Green. Wayne was a lifelong farmer always growing a large garden and
raising chickens and pigs. He enjoyed going to the small animal auctions
every Friday night. He will be fondly remembered for his cooking as he was
one of the best.

He is survived by four brothers, Marvin Green and wife Lucille of Lawndale;
James Green and wife Lucille of Fallston, Hugh Green and wife Ruth of
Lawndale, and Hal Green of Lawndale; three sisters, Betty Haynes; Evelyn
Ballard and husband Dennis and Ellen Jones and husband Randy all of
Lincolnton; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

The funeral service will be held on Friday at 3:00 PM in the Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home Chapel.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.

Center, Inc., Fallston.
