Cathy Holt Leonhardt, age 61 of 1909 Lincolnton Hwy died December 30, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Cleveland County, January 22, 1951 a daughter of the late Paul Landrum and Edith Shoemaker Holt. Cathy was a beautician at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville. She was a member of Anthony Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Howard Leonhardt and two brothers, Bob Holt and Jim Holt.
Survivors include two daughters, Julie Greene and husband Ken of Cherryville and Kim Horne and husband Brad of Gastonia, two sisters, Ann Walker and husband Jerry and Kay Holt all of Cherryville, a sister-in-law Brenda Holt of Cherryville, four grandchildren, Katelyn Sellers, Molly Sellers, Cayson Sellers and Amber Horne.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday January 3, 2013 at Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter’s Funeral Home, with Rev. Dennis Bean, Rev. Ken Faulkenbury and Rev. Kevin Bennett officiating. Burial in City Memorial Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the funeral home.
