| Mrs. Cathy Jean Nance, 58, of 103 Indian Creek Dr., Shelby, NC, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010. Services were held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, Shelby, NC. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery.
Mrs. Nance was preceded in death by her husband, John Nance; her parents, Chester and Ada Head White; and 1 brother, Kenneth White.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Nancy Kennedy and husband Roland and Carolyn White, all of Shelby; 2 brothers, Charles White and wife Sandra of Gaffney, and Morris White of Shelby; special friend, Bill Carico of Shelby; 10 nephews and nieces; 8 great nephews; and 1 great-niece.
