Cecil Parker Davidson
Cecil Parker Davidson, walked into the arms of Jesus on October 16, 2016. Born February 11, 1936 to the late Cletius and Theresa Peeler Parker, Cecil grew up in Blacksburg, SC. She resided with her parents and brother, caring for them in their golden years. Cecil also cared for the welfare of other siblings, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her selfless giving impacted many lives in her family. She worked tirelessly at Monsanto and The Timken Company. She had perfect attendance for all twelve years of school. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
Cecil is survived by Thelma Ham(Boyd) and Geraldine Martin of Blacksburg, SC, Carolyn Stewart(Fred) of York, SC, and Lewis Parker(Judy) of Benton, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 19, 2016, from 1-2:00 PM, at Hopewell Baptist Church. The Celebration Of Life Service will begin at 2:00 PM at Hopewell in the Recreational Outreach Center with Rev. Eddie Bolin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times they will be at the home of Geraldine Martin, 310 S. Charleston St., Blacksburg, SC.
Pallbearers serving are Chip Bittner, Steve Parker, Austin Keller, Stanley Zebroski, Jeffrey Martin and Keith Manning.
