Charles A. Barrett, 78, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland.

He was native of Cleveland County, and retired with 20 years of service, as Sergeant First Class, with the US Army.

He attended the Salvation Army Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Barrett. He is survived by his second wife, Mary, and her family, Steve, Lisa and Karmen; son, Chuck Barrett; daughters, Darlene Barrett and Charlene Bakke and husband James; step son Rick Ledford and wife Becky; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11am, Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with military honor's being rendered. Burial will take place in Bellevue Memorial Gardens in GA.
