Charles Arland Grigg, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.

Born in Cleveland County on June 27, 1951, he was the son of the late Clarence Arland Grigg and Dorothy Louise Carpenter Grigg. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his brother, Don Grigg and his infant brother, Clarence Grigg, Jr. He was a Mason in good standing and a Member of Camp Call Masonic Lodge #534 A.F. & A.M., State Line Lodge #375 A.F. & A.M. as well as a member of Oasis Shrine Temple of Charlotte, Oasis Light Brigade and Piedmont Shrine Club of Shelby. Charles will be remembered as a true family man, having a soft spot for his grandchildren.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Debra Grigg, daughter Sabrina Grigg, sons Robert Carl Grigg and Charles A Grigg, Jr., a sister Margie Moss (Wayne) and brother, Bobby Dean Grigg, as well as his grandchildren, Kenneth Grigg, Chaisty Grigg, Blain Galloway, Schylar Grigg, Stetson Grigg, and Abigail Colon.

A funeral service with Masonic Rights will be held at 2:00PM Monday, January 30, 2023 in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Goodman officiating. The family will receive friends following the funeral service at the funeral home.
