Mr. Charles B. Christie, 84, of Boiling Springs, NC passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011. Services were held at Boiling Springs Baptist Church, Boiling Springs, NC. Burial followed in Cleveland  Memorial Park.

Mr. Christie served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty D. Christie; his parents, Charles H. an Docia H. Christie; and 1 daughter, Gail Day.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Pam Cantrell and husband Jim of Lincoln Co., NC and Barbara Christie of Charlotte, NC; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dorothy C. Vaughn of Boiling Springs, NC and Betty C. Edens of Pelzer, SC; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory, Shelby, NC is serving the family.
