Mr. Charles Cooke, 78, of 4919 Brooks Chapel Road, Ellenboro, NC passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston, NC. Burial followed in Palm Tree United Methodist Church Cemetery. 

Mr. Cooke was preceded in death by his parents, John Ivey Cook and Vangie Lurene Ward Cook; 1 daughter, Lisa Jean Cooke; and 2 brothers, Harold Cook and Walter Cook.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Ann Greene Cooke; 1 daughter, Chris Nalley and husband Dickie of Shelby; 1 granddaughter; 1 great-granddaughter; and 1 brother, Steve Cook of Lawndale.
