Charles Dale Hamrick age 56 died Wednesday October 30, 2013 at his home. Born in Cleveland County on October 10, 1957 he was the son of the late Charles Curtis and Mavis Atkins Hamrick. He worked for numerous years at Concrete Supply and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a wife Carolyn Fowler Hamrick and a nephew Travis Dixon.

Mr. Hamrick is survived by three sons, Paul Owens of Shelby, Phillip Hamrick and wife Gina of Shelby, Timothy Hamrick and wife Jenni of Rutherfordton; two sisters, Karen Emery and husband Mike and Sherry Ivey both of Gaffney; eight grandchildren, Garrett Alexander, Joy Alexander, Brock Owens, Matthew Owens, Kathryn Hamrick, Abbey Hamrick, Caitlyn Hamrick, Paxton Hamrick; two nieces, one nephew and numerous close family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday November 3, 2013 at 3:00 pm  at Landmark Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Davis officiating. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary an hour before the service from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm and other times at the home of Phillip and Gina Hamrick, 1627 Red Road Shelby.
