| Charles Glen Davis, age 79, resident of 156 Mallard Dr., was called home to rest and rejoice with his loved one and his Heavenly Father on September 21, 2011. He was brought into this world December 11, 1931, the fourth son of the late Garmon and Minnie Lovelace Davis. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Herschel Davis, Norman Davis, sisters Rachel Davis Costner and Eunice Davis Horn. He took the trade of carpenter just like his father and his grandfather and built homes for Dale Bridges and Alfred Waters for 30 years. He also loved to work with the soil giving new life to young seedlings. Mr. Davis served in the United States Army. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
