BOSTIC – Charles Leroy Mize, 81, of Fair Haven Drive, Bostic, died on Monday, January 28, 2013 at SECU Hospice House of Rutherford County. A native of Union County, SC, he was born on July 05, 1931, a son of the late Frederick and Mattie Lou Gillian Mize. He retired form the Textile Industry.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Charles Leroy Mize, Jr., Jerry Wayne Mize, and Davie Lee Mize; his daughters, Margaret Elizabeth Bradley and Annette Beth Mize; one grandchild, Adrian Hamrick. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Lee Wynn Mize, of Fair Haven Home; two sisters, Lilly Mae Hart and Pansy Linear, both of Charlotte; eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Cliffside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service.
