| Charles William Alley, 54, of Elliott Drive, Carmel, died on Friday, July 04, 2014 at his residence. A native of Rutherford County, he was born on August 18, 1960, a son of Thelma Louise Whitmire Alley of Mooresboro and the late Charles Bruce Alley. He was retired from the United States Navy and worked at the Veterans Affairs Administration.
He is survived by his daughter, Shelby Faith Alley of Fort Wayne, IN; two brothers, Robert Gene Alley of Hendersonville and Michael Thomas Alley of Mooresboro; five sisters, Sara Elizabeth Alley Kite of Caroleen, Jennie Alley Rojo of Granite Falls, Stephanie Self Alley of Ellenboro, Jennifer Nicole Alley of Ellenboro and Kendra Kelly of Mooresboro.
A Celebration of Charles’s Life will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, July 14, 2014 at The A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
