Cherrill Margot Moshier

Cherrill Margot Moshier, age 80 died Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center Cleveland. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Richard Patrick McGrath II and Hazel Gertrude Gallanger McGrath. Cherrill was a talented artist and was a member of the Cleveland County Arts Council. Cherrill enjoyed billiards, bowling and singing. She was also a master seamstress and enjoyed making clothes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Charles Moshier; a son, Dale Edwin Moshier; a daughter, Lorna Moshier Townsend; and a brother, Richard Patrick McGrath III.

Cherrill is survived by a son, David Allen Moshier and wife Denise of Canton GA.; two daughters, Garnet Moshier Knott and husband Kenneth of Gainesville GA., and Margot Moshier Smith and husband Brian of Shelby; a sister, Roberta McGrath Tucker and husband Corky of FL.; eight grandchildren, Ashley Sinclair and husband Jesse, Allie Moshier, Bruce Moshier, Cassandra Knott Garmon and husband Dustin, Tonya Knott, Jessica Townsend, Ashley Townsend Kincade and husband James, and Landon Smith; two great grandchildren, Jake Sinclair and Drake Garmon; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 5:00 pm in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Beaver Dam Baptist Church. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
