Mrs. Cheryl Payseur Blackwell, 69, of 327 Tanager Lane, passed
away peacefully on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at her home.

Cheryl was born in Lincoln County, NC on October 6, 1946 a daughter of the
late William B. Payseur and Kathleen Adams Payseur and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Bill Blackwell, of the home; two
sons, Jonathan Craig Blackwell and wife Kristin of Chapel Hill and
Christopher Scott Blackwell of Raleigh; a granddaughter, Avery Blackwell;
one sister, Jan Heavner of Cherryville and one brother, Greg Payseur of
Kings Mountain.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30AM at City Memorial Cemetery,
Cherryville, with the Rev. Wayne Key officiating.

Burial will be at City Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 112 Mt. Zion Church Rd.,
Cherryville, NC 28021.
