Cherryville – Mrs. Christi Bivens Armstrong Pittillo, 44, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at her residence.

Christi was born in Cleveland County, NC on January 16, 1968 a daughter of Arthur “Butch” Bivens of Cherryville and the late Freida Coggins Bivens.  She attended Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church and was formerly employed at Amy’s House in Lincolnton.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband Joel Ray Armstrong and a brother William “Bill” Bivens.

Survivors in addition to her father include two sons, Allen Ray Armstrong and Daniel Pittillo and a brother Evan Bivens all of Cherryville.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 1:15 until 2:15PM at Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church and at other times the family will be at the home of her father, 677 Flint Hill Rd. Cherryville, NC.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 2:30PM at Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church with the Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating.

Burial will be at Daniels Lutheran Church Cemetery in Lincolnton.
