Christine "Teeny" Mauney Kiser

Cherryville - Mrs. Christine "Teeny" Mauney Kiser, 93, of Mauney Farm Road,
passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Robin Johnson Hospice House in
Dallas.

Mrs. Kiser was born in Gaston County, NC on August 4, 1923 a daughter of the
late Nevil B. Mauney and Zoe Mauney Mauney. She was a homemaker and a
member of St. Dorothy's Catholic Church in Lincolnton. Mrs. Kiser was also
vice president of the Cherryville Senior Citizens Club and a member of the
Young at Heart group at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Cherryville. She
enjoyed cooking, watching college basketball and word search puzzles.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn
J. "Jake" Kiser and a brother, Kenneth Mauney.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Annette Diener and husband
Robert of Troutman; Suzette James and husband Dan of Cherryville; four
grandchildren, Caesar Carbana and wife Martha, Kristin Diener Neilson and
husband Michael, Kurtis James, and Lisa Diener Peters and husband Michael;
great granddaughter, Marissa Peters.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to CaroMont Regional
Medical Center and Gaston Hospice for their compassionate care and also to
Debra Larro, Mrs. Kiser's dedicated caregiver.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 5:30 to 7:30PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service and at the other times
the family will be at the home of a daughter, Suzette James, 165 Mauney Farm
Road, Cherryville.

A funeral prayer service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 12,
2016 at St. Dorothy's Catholic Church with Father David Miller officiating.

Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.

Dallas, NC 28034.
