Mrs. Christine “Teenie” Viola Street, 55, of Shelby, NC passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010. The family received friends at the home of Tony Murray, 1041 Sam Lattimore Road, Shelby, NC. A private service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Street was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hugh Wall Street; her parents, Ernest Floyd and Sarah Oaks Trueove; 2 brothers, Ernest Truelove and George William Truelove; and 3 sisters, Elizabeth Childers, Rose Davidson and Dorothy Irene Truelove.

She is survived by 1 son, Tony Lee Murray and girlfriend Brittany Gail Smart of Shelby; 1 nephew; 3 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Katherine Truelove Bradley and husband James of Ellenboro, Carolyn Barnette and husband Frank of Lawndale and Juanita Grant and husband Steve of Shelby.
