Mr. Christopher Ryan “Chris” Phillips, 23, resident of 214 Jim Patterson Road, Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Services were held at Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Kings Mountain, NC. Burial followed in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC. 

Mr. Phillips served our country and was a Lance Cpl in the U.S. Marines.

He is survived by his parents, David C. and Michelle Spence King of Kings Mountain, NC; his father, Keith Phillips of Illinois; 1 brother, David “DJ” King, Jr. of Kings Mountain; 1 sister, Kaitlin King of Kings Mountain; and his girl friend, Davina Etli of Kings Mountain.
