Get a start on celebrating America's 250th birthday by attending "Celebrating Freedom", a patriotic concert presented by the music department of Ambassador Baptist College. The evening will feature music that highlights spiritual and American freedom, including a tribute to veterans, and will conclude with several patriotic favorites.

Blood Drive: Monday, May 11, Family Worship Center COG and the KM Ministerial Association will sponsor a blood drive from 12 till 5:30 pm, 1818 Shelby Rd., Kings Mountain. Nar-Anon Support Group: Meets 6:30 pm weekly on Tuesdays at the First Baptist Church, 120 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC. Nar-Anon is a support group for those affected by someone else's drug addiction. We meet in the classroom of Dale St., between Sumter and Campbell St. Park on the side of the church or in the alley.
