Clarence D Haynes, 89, of 111 Causby Hoyle Rd, Casar, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at his home.
He was born in Cleveland County on October 16, 1924, to the late L.D. Haynes and Carrie Hoyle Haynes. He worked for Stamey Store in Fallston and later retired from Broughton Hospital as a supervisor. He was a member of Casar United Methodist Church where he played the organ for many years. He also loved to bake cakes and cook with his wife.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother T.B. Haynes and sister, Minnie Lee Martin.
He is survived by his wife of forty years, Grace Hoyle Haynes; nieces Martha Winn and husband Dale of Shelby & Kathy Elmore and husband Mike of Lawndale, Nancy Holdsclaw of Casar, and Debbie Morgan and husband Brian of Casar; and nephew, Steve Hoyle and wife Lynn of Polkville.

Funeral Service: 2:00PM ,Friday, at Casar United Methodist Church, Casar.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
