Clarence Louis "Jo Jo" Spencer, 92, of 319 Lamar Ave. Unit 4 in Shelby,
passed away May 5, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
Born May 5, 1921 in Gaston County, he was a retired supervisor after thirty
four years of service with Rural Electric Association. He also served in the
US Navy during WWII and he was a member of Asheville Street Baptist Church
in Morganton.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Mamie Atrice "Bea" Downs Spencer, son, Ray
Spencer of Reston, VA, two grandchildren, Robert Spencer and Amy Saine, and
four great grandchildren, Aaron, Payton, Blake, and Steven.
The graveside service will be Wednesday May 8, 2013 at 1:00PM at Bridge42
Church Cemetery in Morganton with Rev. Doug Goforth officiating.
