Cleveland Community College Practical Nursing Students Honored at Pinning Ceremony

The eighty-second class of the Cleveland Community College Practical Nursing program held its pinning ceremony on Thursday, July 29, in the Student Activities Center on the CCC campus. Thirteen nursing students were recognized during the ceremony for their achievements. College President, Dr. L. Steve Thornburg welcomed family and friends and the presentation of pins was made by CCC Practical Nursing Program Coordinator, Sharon Hamrick- RN, MSN and CCC Practical Nursing Instructor, Anne Wise-RN, MSN. Students in the practical nursing program endure a rigorous and challenging schedule to complete the one-year program. Upon graduation, students are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination which is required for practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
