The retirees of Kosa fished Lake Norman last week with James Haynes and Tommy Wess getting the win. They had 8.75. Fred Wright and Dean Champion took second with 7.50 followed by Ronnie Humphries with 5.0. Big bass was a 2.90 largemouth brought in by Wright and Champion. This week, the retirees fish Lake Hickory. Don’t that sound like fun as hot as it has been?

MOSS

Only 9 boats fished last week, Arnold blames in on the weather. Too hot, too many storms, water temp close to 100. Take your pick. Brian and Cody Hoyle got the win with 9.78 followed by Randy and Randall Wright with 7.70. Arnold Ledford and Clayton Wright had 5.89 and landed in third. Fourth went to Matt Arey and Les Dulin with 5.10. Big bass was a 4.27 brought in by the team of Wright and Wright. Hopefully mother nature will ease up on us all soon.

Bass Club News

The Cleveland County Bass Club will visit Lake Hickory this Saturday. The top ten in points heading into this event are: James Osborne, Roger Beaver, Tyler Hensley, Ray Hembree, Tom Mayhew, Larry Melton, Chuck Camp, John Presnell, Ronnie Humphries and Roger Hamrick. The Bass Casters also fish this weekend, Saturday night/Sunday morning. Starting at midnight Saturday night til 9am Sunday morning.
