Cleveland County Outdoors September 16th Edition
KOSA The Kosa retirees fished on Lake Hickory last week and saw some pretty tough conditions. Tom Mayhew picked up the win with a catch of 7.90. James Haynes and Tommy Wess had 6.90 aNd landed in second with John Black and Roger McNeilly taking third with 5.60. Big bass was a 4.85 largemouth brought in by Wess and Haynes. This week, the retirees head to Lake Wylie and all would have to figure there will be better fishing.

MOSS


Thirteen boats fished the weekly event last Thursday on Moss Lake. Walt Brysick fished solo and picked up the win with 9.56. Mitch Gardner and Stacey James were second with 6.85. J R Garland and Ronnie Beason had 3.87 and were third. Randy and Randall Wright nailed down fourth with 3.20 and fifth was Arnold Ledford and Clayton Wright with 1.77. Big bass of the evening was a 3.73 largemouth brought in by Brysick.


Bass Casters


The Bass Casters fished Lake Rhodhiss last weekend with Brandon Scarborough getting the win. Scarborough had 6.5 with 3 bass, he was followed by Bubba Sprouse with 4.7. There was a tie for third between Randy Scarborough and John Brown, as both had 3.7. Mitch McCracken had 2.5 and rounded out the top five. Big bass was a 3.15 largemouth brought in by Brandon Scarborough. The Bass Casters will fish their next points event on Lake Hickory October 17 from 7am til 3pm.  On October 3rd, they will have their top ten fish-off from last year on a lake to be decided that morning.
