Cleveland County Senior Games SilverArts Kick-off
Cleveland County Senior Games/SilverArts is celebrating 30 years of sports, arts, fellowship and fun, but most importantly we want YOU to be a part of this wonderful celebration! 
The Senior Games/SilverArts Kick-off will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the Council on Aging/Neal Senior Center.  Please join them to learn about the history of Senior Games/SilverArts, updates from the North Carolina State Senior Games office, new sporting events, and ways that you can participate and even volunteer! Lunch will be provided by Healthy@Home.
Anyone is welcomed, who is age 50 and above and loves sports of all kinds such as Basketball, Discus, Table Tennis, Corn Hole, Billiards, Shuffleboard, Swimming, Golf, Track and Field Events and so much more! Also, we are adding Pickleball as a brand new sporting event!
They also encourage those who have a creative mind and spirit and enjoy painting, quilting, crocheting, singing, dancing, performing and all other talents that you would like to share with our community to come and learn more about the Senior Games/SilverArts Program.  SilverArts will be held March 9 – 13, 2015.  The SilverArts Display will be open for the public to view during that week from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
For those that sing, act, dance, do comedy or more, the Performing Arts Follies will be held on Friday, March 13th at 6:00 p.m.  Come on and say it loud, Cleveland County’s Got Talent and We’re Proud!  SAVE THE DATE – JANUARY 9, 2015 11:30 A.M.
Are you a former athlete, a sports fan, a true competitor, or an Artist?  If so, then
Senior Games and SilverArts is for YOU!  Cleveland County Senior Games and SilverArts is for any resident of Cleveland County that is age 50 or better. 
Senior Games is about fun, fitness, family, and fellowship and SilverArts is about exploring and sharing your creative spirit through arts, crafts, singing, dancing, and more.  To learn more about this great opportunity, please join us for the Senior Games/SilverArts Kick-off on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
 If you are working on that day and will have to use your lunch hour, no worries!  Lunch will be provided by Healthy@Home.  If you are interested in attending, you will need to call the Council on Aging/Neal Senior Center Front Desk at (704) 482-3488 to register.  Registration begins on Monday, December 1st and ends on Wednesday, December 31st.
