Cleveland Memorial Library New Logo Design Competition
Cleveland County Memorial Library is celebrating its Centennial year in 2014. A number of celebration events will take place throughout the year. The Library is sponsoring a competition to create a new logo and tagline to better reflect the library in the 21st century and invites Cleveland County residents to enter.
The competition begins immediately and the deadline for entries is February 21. The winner will be announced on March 17. Guidelines for the competition can be accessed on our website www.ccml.org or a competition brochure can be picked up at the library circulation desk.
Logo and tagline submissions will be judged by a committee including library staff and board members as well as a graphic design professional. A $100 prize will be awarded to the designer of the winning logo. All residents of Cleveland County are eligible to enter except for employees or board members of the Cleveland County Library System.
The New Library Logo Prospectus can be accessed on our website at www.ccml.org. On our homepage click on the Support Your Library tab and scroll down to Create a New Library Logo. A paper copy of the Prospectus can be picked up at Cleveland County Library main branch in Shelby or at the Spangler Branch in Lawndale. If you have any questions, please call Susan B. Doggett at 704-481-1234 extension 228.
