Cleveland Rutherford Kidney Association, 1017 N. Washington Street, Shelby, will hold the following events:
Third Annual Art Show, July 27-August 18 at Cleveland Mall. Hours are Friday and Saturday: 10AM - 9PM, Sunday: 1 PM - 6 PM. Art from local artists will be displayed and prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. We would like to have more art entered. A wine tasting by Woodmill Winery and “Meet the Artists” will be held on August 17 at 6:30PM. Tickets are $10.
Annual Jailathon, August 4, 11:00AM - 3:00PM at Cleveland Mall. Entertainment will be provided by: Foothills Choir at 11AM, Body Movz (Zumba) at 12 Noon, Travis Powell and Kt Macomson at 1PM, and Gary Gibbons at 2PM. If you would like to put a bail on someone, please call 704-481-9535.
Paul Porter Memorial Golf Tournament will be held September 19 at Deer Brook Golf Club. 1PM Shotgun start. 4 man teams. $60 per player. We are taking hole sponsorships for $100 each. For more information call 704-481-9535 or email michelleckrka@aol.com. Prizes will be awarded.
Gospel Singing at Second Baptist Church in Shelby on September 21, 6:00 - 9:30 PM. “His Glory” and “Harmony of Hope” will be singing. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
