Cloyd "Tony" Bumgardner, age 82, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went home to be with his Lord on March 2, 2016 at his home. He was born in Huntington, PA to the late Clayton Bumgardner and Sadie Mae Wilson Bumgardner. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Ann Bumgardner. Tony retired as Sgt. First Class from the United States Army after 23 years of service. He served during the Vietnam War and Korean War. He was formerly employed with Westinghouse Nuclear Turbine Co, Charlotte, NC for 20 years. He was a very active member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC where he served as Deacon, choir member, usher, and missionary on mission trips to Kentucky and Arizona. He enjoyed being a member of the Cleveland County Senior Golf Association and the Golden Seniors Bowling League, Gastonia, NC. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and hero to his family.

Sister-in-law: Clarice Smith Bryant, Greenwood, SC

4 Grandchildren: Chris Bumgardner, Brian Donald, Jennifer Donald, and Casey Ramey.

2 Great Grandchildren: Gracie Donald and Luke Keith Brown
