Clyde Ferdinand Saine, Jr.
 Clyde Ferdinand Saine, Jr., age 64, of Forest City, died Monday, July 4, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

     Clyde was born on December 26, 1946 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Clyde Ferdinand Saine, Sr. and Eunice Lancaster Saine.  He was a 1964 graduate of Chase High School and played guitar and was the lead singer for “The Road Gang Band”. He worked in construction most of his life and was a member of Sandy Mush Baptist Church.  Other than his love for music, he enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors from yard work to hunting and fishing. 

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Saine and sister, Myrtle Heusinkveld.

     Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Brenda Saine; two daughters, Amy Saine and fiancé, Danny Epley of Forest City and Amanda Saine and fiancé, Jon Cole also of Forest City; one son, Clyde Saine III and wife, Brandi of Forest City; two sisters, Ramona Lane and husband, Larry of Henrietta and Carolyn Moore and husband, Vic of Six Points; one brother, James Saine and wife, Connie of Mooresboro and one brother-in-law, Roger Heusinkveld of Forest City  He is also survived by four grandchildren, Brittany Saine, Chancellor Saine, Callie Epley and Auston Wiggins.

     Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Chase Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Butler and Reverend Dennis Yelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Saine Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
