Cody Condrey, age 25, of Inman, SC formerly of Mooresboro, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 due to an automobile accident.
Born January 19, 1990 in Rutherford County, he is the son of Denise Condrey of Mooresboro and Neil Condrey of Forest City. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 2008 and a member of Haynes Memorial Baptist Church. Cody worked for Crowder Construction as an electrician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and Tar Heels Basketball. He loved his fiancé, Katie Cromer and their infant son, Kason more than anything and was dedicated to his family.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Leonard Price and paternal grandparents, Howard and Dot Condrey and Lena Henson.
In addition to his parents, fiancé and son, he is survived by two brothers, Zachery Condrey and Lucas Condrey both of Forest City; maternal grandmother, Teresa Price of Rutherfordton and paternal grandparents, Jerry and Vicki Condrey of Forest City; two aunts, Christy Hooper of Rutherfordton and Angie Shytle and husband, Dean of Ellenboro; one uncle, Eric Condrey and wife, Beth of Boiling Springs, NC; mother and father in-law, Kim and Keith Howell of Inman. He is also survived by a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Crestview Baptist Church with Reverend Kevin Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 o'clock until 3 o'clock at the church before service time.
