Our week #12 Shelby Shopper & Info Football Contest winner was Daniel Sparks of Mooresboro. Daniel is a Carolina Panthers fan, but said he was pulling for Casey to not make the last minute last week because he had picked Cleveland to win the game on his entry form. Above, Daniel receives his $100 winner’s check from Robin Hawkins of First National Bank. First National is one of our contest sponsors and has locations in Cleveland, Rutherford, Lincoln and Gaston Counties. Daniel’s ballot was one of six entries received picking 10 out of 12 games correctly. He won by having the closest tie-breaker score of 46.
