SHELBY - Connie Cannon Davis, 79, passed away September 18, 2015 at her residence.
Born in Marion, NC on August 13, 1936, Connie was the daughter of the late James Atlas Cannon and Nellie Lucille Condrey Cannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Doug Davis and brother, Kenneth Cannon.
She attended Crestview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Morrison (Rusty), Candy Ayers (Ricky); brother, Jimmy Cannon (Teresa); grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Landon Morrison (Tosha) and their children, Logan and Tucker; Douglas Davis (Tammy Ort) and her son, Brayden; Amanda Norman (Justin).
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Cleveland Funeral Services with Rev. Rob Helton officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2015 at Cleveland Memorial Park
