Daniel Coy Calhoun, 66, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, SC.

Daniel was born on April 20, 1958 in Bryson City, NC to parents Wallace Coy and Margaret Ann Cole Calhoun and was the widower to Karan Wright Calhoun. Mr. Calhoun was a deacon at Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church and was retired from Keystone.

Surviving Mr. Calhoun are two brothers, Jim Calhoun (Arlene) of Raleigh, NC and Joseph Lee Calhoun of Blacksburg.

In addition to his wife and parents, Daniel was preceded in death by a step-son, Gregg Wright, and a brother, Steven Clay Calhoun.

No services for Mr. Calhoun are scheduled at this time.

The family will be at their respective homes.
