Daniel Grover "Danny" Parker, Jr., age 55, of Waco, NC, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Wendover Hospice of Shelby.

He was born January 31, 1969, in Cleveland County to Barbara Ann Cash Parker, and the late Daniel Grover Parker, Sr.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Muriel and Mable Cash and paternal grandparents, Otis and Martha Parker.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Ann Cash Parker; daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Parker Ebert (Bryan); granddaughter, Sophia Grace; sister, Danna Parker Banning (Allen); longtime friend, Rick Black; nieces, Meredith Banning Mitchell (Andrew); Gracen Banning, and Courtney Banning; and great-nieces Lylah and Cora.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at City Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wendover Hospice of Shelby, NC or to Second Baptist Church of Cherryville, NC.
