KINGS MOUNTAIN- Daniel Joseph "Dick" Ray, 66, died January 5, 2016. He was born March 13, 1949 in Kings Mountain, NC to the late Claude and Inez Morgan Ray.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Josephine Moore; two daughters, Diana Guthrie, Daniel Guevara; and one son, Adam Ray.

He is survived by his sister, Claudine Cobb; three sons, Daniel Ray, DJ Ray, and Jay McCoy; one daughter, Veronica Cates; 15 grandchildren; one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held Saturday February 20, 2016 at Trinity Church of the Living God, 119 Kristie Lane, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Mountain Rest Cemetery.
