Danny Patterson Wright, 68, of Charlie Elliot Road, Lawndale, passed away
Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Valley Nursing & Rehab in Taylorsville.

He was born in Cleveland County on, March 29, 1947, to the late Roscoe
Patterson Wright and Helen Cook Wright. He was a retired deputy sheriff for
Cleveland County Sheriff Office. He was a member of Polkville Baptist Church
and the Campcall Masonic Lodge. He also served in the United States Army in
Germany and then retired from the Army Reserved after 27 years of service.

He was survived by his wife of 40 years, Judy Bridges Wright; Daughter,
Betsy Buchanan & husband Stephen of Gastonia; Grandson, Nicholas Buchanan;
sister, Diane Heavner & husband Pete of Shelby; Sister, Donna Russ of
Shelby.

Visitation; 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, Stamey- Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center, Inc., Fallston. At other times the family will be at the
home of Betsy & Stephen Buchanan, 2000 Wren's Song Way, Gastonia, NC.

Funeral Service; 2:00PM, Tuesday, at Stamey - Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel,
846 E. Stagecoach Trail, Fallston, NC 28042

Officiating; Rev. Rick Hamrick

Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with military graveside
rites.
