Danny Steve Warlick, Sr. 68, of 1509 W. Stagecoah Trail, Lawndale, a loving
father and grandfather passed away from lung cancer, Monday, May 23, 2011 at
Carolinas Medical Center - University in Charlotte .
Born April 20, 1943 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Guy McCoy
Warlick and Sarah Estelle Warlick. Danny was retired from Advanced Auto
Parts and was a lifelong member of Palm Tree United Methodist Church in
Lawndale. He was in the US Army as a former Infantry Drill Sgt / Sergeant
First Class. He was a Mason and member of the Camp Call Lodge in Polkville.
He Loved his family dearly and in turn was dearly Loved by all those whose
lives he touched.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack
McCoy and Thomas Abram Warlick.
Survivors: his wife of 45 years, Gale Brackett Warlick; three children,
Danny Steve Warlick, Jr. and his wife Regina, Tyler Wellington Warlick and
Tiffany Carmen Warlick; grandchildren, Courtney, Cody, Riley, Bailey, Carli
Jade , Reana, Serenity, Mia , Camryn, Samantha, Matthew, and Joshua. Also
surviving is a nephew (who was like a brother to him) Randy McCoy Warlick;
and close friends Ken McMurray, Jerry Carpenter, and Randy Grigg.
Visitation: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Stamey Funeral

Church.

Burial: Palm Tree United Methodist Church Cemetery
