Daphine McNeilly Canipe

Daphine McNeilly Canipe, 93, of 112 Church Street, Lattimore, died
Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at White Oak Manor in Shelby.

She was born in Cleveland County on January 19, 1921 to the late Andrew
Grayson McNeilly and Laura Hoyle McNeilly. She was retired form Cleveland
Mills after 42 years of service and was a member of Lattimore Baptist
Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 75
years Edley Martin Canipe; son, Wendell Canipe; son-in-law, Joe Mauney;
granddaughter, Christine Appleman; four brothers, Jerry McNeilly, Ralph
McNeilly, Quinton McNeilly, and Raford McNeilly; and four sisters, Martha
Jean Wilson, Buna Canipe, Edith Hastings, and Pauline Brackett.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Mitchell and Gail Canipe
of Ellenboro and Charles and Gail Canipe of Shelby; daughter, Helen Mauney
of Lattimore; daughter-in-law, Vickie Canipe of Shelby; brother, Donald
McNeilly of Casar; three sisters, Josephine Huffman of Casar, Eloise Martin
of Valdese, and Brenda Williams of Casar; eleven grandchildren, twenty-three
great grandchildren, and twelve great great grandchildren.

Visitation, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM., Saturday, Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center, Inc., Fallston. Condolences may be made online at
