Mrs. Darlene Black Yarbro, 76, resident of 565 Bethlehem Rd., Kings Mountain, NC passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Services were held at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Yarbro was preceded in death by her parents, James Henry and Essie Mae Collins Black; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, George W. Yarbro; 2 sons, Wayne Yarbro and wife JoAnn, and David Yarbro and wife Pam, all of Kings Mountain, NC; 2 daughters, Sherry Y. Jenkins and husband Barry of Kings Mountain, NC, and Jerry Y. Putnam of Grover; 1 brother, Dean Black of Belmont; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Bethlehem Baptist Church “Building Fund”, 1017 Bethlehem Rd., Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
