Cherryville - Mr. Darrell Ellis Moseley, 44, of 1005 E. Church Street,
passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in
Gastonia.

Darrell was born in Lincoln County, NC, on January 24, 1972 a son of Edgar
Moseley of Springfield Missouri and Annette Land Hartman and husband Glen of
Shelby. He was a welder with ACT Conveyor. Darrell attended Oak Grove
Baptist Church in Cherryville, he was considered the "softball daddy" for
Cherryville Dixie Girls softball and the Cherryville Lady Bulldogs. He also
enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his parents survivors include his wife of 16 years, Shannon
Sisk Moseley of the home; daughter, Brooklyn Moseley; two stepchildren,
Justin Gilleland and Jennifer Gilleland all of the home; three step
brothers, Scott Hartman of Charlotte; Tony Hartman of Shelby and Shane
Hartman of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Bentley Ellis Gilleland and McKenzie
Grace Gilleland.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at
5:00PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cherryville with the Rev. Travis Mull
officiating.

Burial will be Private.
