Darrell Wayne Moore, age 49, of Ellenboro, died Monday, October 5, 2015 at his residence.
He was born in Charleston, West Virginia on October 3, 1966. Darrell worked in construction and as a security guard for Universal Protective Services. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed lifting weights and working out at the gym. Darrell was an animal lover and had several pet cats.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Oley and Ruth Morgan.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Darlene Morgan Parker and Albert Parker of Ellenboro; ex step-father, Joseph Sullivan of Fredericksburg, VA; brother, Joseph Eugene Sullivan and wife, Lori of Fredericksburg, Virginia; niece, Amanda Faye Sullivan and nephew, Joseph Sullivan Jr.; five aunts, Connie Belford of Asheville, Charlotte Gregory, Brenda Perry, Dorrene Mathis and Mary Ellen Smith all of Kings Mountain.
A memorial service will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Hospice House Chapel, 372 Hudlow Road, Forest City with Reverend Bob Belford officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
