David Christopher Walker, age 54 of Hwy 182, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at Carolinas Healthcare System in Kings Mountain. He was born May 11, 1963 in Lincoln County to Clara Carlotta Putnam Walker of Lincolnton and the late Barry Thomas Walker. Chris enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially striper fishing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Josh Walker of Newton; the mother of his son, Jodi Walker of Newton; sister, Michelle Barden and fiancé, John Rampey of Lincolnton; brother, Mark Walker and wife, Susan of Lincolnton; and special nieces and nephews, Zoie, Addy, Cadie, Austin, Zayda, Lexi, Carla, Megan, and Heather.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will be private.
